Kindergarten Shmindergarten!

So today was Paris Kindergarten Graduation! How exciting! Well is was super exciting for her and we tryed to be super excited with her. We went into the dollar store this morning and got some new hair accessories for her.
She raced home after school and was so excited to get ready. So we put hot rollers in her hair and Brody helped watch Blaze and we got her hair done just the way she likes it up and curly. She's such a girl. We got the pancakes made for supper and gobbled them as fast as we could and got up there in time with everyone dressed and half happy.
It was a nice short program thank heavens. It was so hot in the gym and i had to keep reminding Brad that "yes we did this last year for B" and "yes you are going to act like your excited to be here!"
I thought this is how it's always going to be for poor Paris doing everything one year after B already did it and we are going to have to act just as excited for her the next year!
Oh well she had a super time and got some super presents which consisted of..............
From B- a new dog leash (she likes to attach it to Blazes Pants and pretend he is her puppy.
and a bag of candy
and from Brad and I a super cool Dora Fan and some High School Musical paraphernalia

One of Paris guest's..... Grandma SharonGrandma and Grandpa Wolsey and Jeff were Paris other guests!
We were so glad the grandparents could make it. Sure made Paris happy.
Paris gobbling the icing of her cupcake but dumped the rest in the garbage after the icing was gone!

What im Thankful for....

This Past week/weekend I've been so grateful for so many things. I got the flu which the dr. says last for 5to7 days. It was horrible and i thought i would rather give birth 5 times over then do that again. I was so sleep deprived and could not do anything for a good 3 day's so that made me so thankful for ........................

Brad who took care of the house, feeding kid's, Letting me sleep, and for getting up at 5:30 friday morning to rub my back and hair to make me feel better.

My Mom Who took me to the hospital, Put me to bed for 2 strait day's while helping Brad get the house ready to show, Had the kids sleep over, and babied me the way only a mother can!

My Dad who, with as tired as he was watched Blaze while i went to the hospital. Watched the kids Saturday while i slept and mom and Brad cleaned the house.

Thank heavens I'm feeling somewhat better now but it's weekends like this that make me so thankful that people care about me!

And a few more things this weekend makes me thankful for is

finding out that Gravol is safe to take all though your pregnancy!!
Taking a bath can make any pain go away.

On to a new week hopfully it will be better and alot more productive!!

Teaching Moments

He Love's Paris Unicorn outfit that actually fit's him better then her know but he's only allowed to borrow it sometimes.
My little sunshine bear! (Ok really he's just spoiled and a tad on the grumpy side more often then not but still so cute)

This sounds like a really fluffy post. Well i kinda is but tonight i got home from Young women's and slipped in to say goodnight to Brody and he proceeded to tell me that they did not read their chapter books, instead they read three chapters of the BOM (which it's the one with the pictures) Any way he was completely floored by the stripling worriers! He explained to me all about it and his eye's just lit up! I thought wow what a teaching moment for Brad to take with B and Paris.

So it got me thinking about the teaching moment's I've had today.

-And well we had a moment in superstore where i had to teach Blaze that he was not allowed to get so excited over girls shoe's, He whips his off so fast so he can try on the gold ones.
- I taught Paris that Sunday shoes meant To only be worn on Sunday. Yes you would not think it was a hard lesson but you would be amazed after that whole conversation how many times she actually asked to wear them today!
-I also found another teaching moment with Blaze as inappropriate as it is i will share... He loves babies and he already loves this baby that is still in my tummy, He loves to give my belly kisses, But lately he's been confused with all the lumps on mommy as to which is baby and which is not. So i taught him the difference between baby and other bumps. I strictly taught him the difference to avoid those embarrassing moments when he point's to some other lady and Say's baby, He Say's both clearly know, So People will think I'm far to open with him if he point and Say's the other, but really it's to not offend lady's when he point and Say's baby, Brad's not sure that was the best lesson but he's got to know the difference so he does not think for the rest of his life that I've got 2 more babies right.
So compared to Brad's teaching moment mine are not that great but i guess I'll be in charge of the basics and Brad can do the spiritual.

Paris Second Best Day EVER!

Wow! Paris' Tooth Became loose yesterday afternoon, And when i say loose it was not completely mobile you could barley move it. But she has been talking about it non stop. She could hardly stand herself when B started loosing his, now it was her turn! So all day yesterday she kept asking if we wanted to wiggle it and pull it and well everything else and we were busy cleaning and doing other things, So to say the least it was so so super Annoying!
So she started again this morning on it! Yikes finally Brad walks into the bedroom and Say's it's coming out right know. Me assuming it was super loose and he said no not super loose but I'm going to go crazy if it does not come out this minute. So Brad went out and got the (super Clean and sterile) pliers from the dirty garage and B went out and got the camera and this is the story...........................

This is the Loose culprit

Blaze needed to feel apart of everything so Brad taught him how to use pliers on his own teeth.

In the "sterile" pliers go

And wow scary Daddy and a little sore Paris

And there it is gone gone gone!!! But I've got to say she is still so excited and keeps asking us if we want to see the tooth so I'm not sure really how much good it did for our sanity

Outtakes........

We were all so excited to have the Sharpes come this weekend! They came yesterday evening and are leaving tomorrow. Missy wanted to get some DAD pictures done like the one's i did of my kids so we shipped my kid's to school this morning and started snapping away. These first ones our the funny "outtakes". Which Missy and I just about died laughing at, Because a gagging child always brings out the humor in us!

Reader discretion advised!!!

This face looks Innocent enough right?
WRONG

So don't say i didn't warn you this post is long involved and kinda nasty.........So today already I've earned my mommy badge. We woke up this morning quite happy. Let me digress for the last 3 previous night's we've (Most/all kid's and me) have been having a hard time sleeping. Brody's nightlight burnt out and sent him into a i don't know what but he had every aliment from 10pm-2am he was hot then cold then his tummy hurt then his back hurt then he grew another ear (ok just kidding on the last) and Blaze, well i just believe he's spoiled and has gotten into a bad habit and Poor Paris gets woke up by all the commotion! So our breaking point was the night before last everybody in our whole house was up a 4AM! Me and Brad just looked at each other in total shock and disbelief as the weeping and wailing went on and on! Anyway so to say the lest we were all very very tired yesterday. So (and don't Judge me or call social service on us) but Brad Made a mad dash on his lunch break to walmart for a big jar or Children's Gravol. (for all you Americans it's for upset tummy's or for desperated sleep deprived parents) but i guess they have caught on to people like us and quit selling it!!! So Brad got the children's Tylenol DM. So last night at 5:30 pm each and everyone of the kids got a special treat from Daddy and would cure anything that ailed them that night! By the time we got dinner on there was next to no conversation the kiddies were so tired! B who usually eats us out of house and home did not take a bite. So 7 rolls around and off to bed and within 15min all 3 were sound asleep. Brad and I said a little prayer that it would last.................. and guess what it did!!!! We woke up this morning happy and refreshed!! UNTIL.......................

Brad went to work and the kid's woke up and we went to get Blaze up! Well it was Paris turn to get him up and she comes running out and Say's i cant get him cause he stinks. Which does not surprise me with his aversion to the tub and when he's relaxed at nap or night is is know to empty his system. So i got the diaper and wipes and in i went. Blaze was in a super mood (thanks to Tylonol Dm) and layed right down for his diaper change well i grabbed his pants hastily and felt somthing kinda squishy well i pulled up his pant and there was Poop everywhere!! The front of this diaper had come off and poo was everywhere! So of course i started gagging and in between gagging dry heaving and then i had called brad to see if he had bathed blaze last night but by that time it didn't matter he was going to be forced into the shower! So Brad is laughing on the other end of the line as I'm gagging and the kid's are screaming cause poo is coming out everywhere! Anyway long story short i think Blaze was shocked over the big hype in the morning over him he willingly got in the shower! Wow then i handed Paris the bathroom wipes and asked her to go wipe up all the wet foot prints and she said "the poo to" i went and looked and there was a big ol' Pile that had fallen out without me noticing!!!! So I think I've earned my Mom badge today! But now after all the craziness this moring i have no energy to get dressed or out of bed for that matter! Oh what a day, and it's only 9am!

Blaze and my day!

Paris and i had big plans for today. We got B off to school and we were going to work out in the sewing room on baby's stuff. Well 9:00 rolls around and Paris gets a phone call to go play and she thought that sounded funner. So it left Blaze and me, so we got to work!
This is what we got made.............

Minky Retro astronaut blanket and matching burp cloth

His Big Minky Blanket and Burp cloth. Brad got to decide on the first name for sure so it's Knox (I'm sure Grandpa Hough will have a look for us) I asked him 3 time to make sure before i appliqued on this blanket. So His name unless it surprises us and is a girl, he will be Knox Merrigan Wolsey.

This i was so excited about it I used all the left over Minky and matched it with about 4 or 5 fat quarters and came up with this top. I'm just going to tie it but i think it turned out super cute!

I found a tutorial on someones blog with these covers's. It's 2 pieces of light cotton with two straps that Velcro across the carrier handle so it makes kind of a tent for the baby in the summer when it's sunny so you can lift it up but it still is stuck on the carrier. Anyway I'm excited about it obviously.

And this is how Blaze helps................
He tried out the carrier and Blanket

He Made me laugh

And again he tried out yet another blanket.
Otherwise He wandered around the yard and found all sort's of things with wheels while i sewed.
He's such a good little guy when the other kiddies are not around.

And this is tomorrow's project. Making these Bib's and hat's super cute for this baby!!
Oh how i love to craft!
