Happy Halloween part one.

Today was the kid's Halloween parade and party at school. After minor mind changes in the morning on the choice of costume, They got off to school on time, makeup and all. Paris choose to be a witch this year. And B decided on a old timer hockey goalie(No helmet or neck guard).

B was the undecided this morning so we only got a quick picture on the way out the door......

So after school Paris and I took off into lethbridge to use the OPRAH 50% off your entire purchase at Payless coupon!!! Yep it worked in Canada so we stocked up on shoe's for Brody, Blaze Me and Paris (and Em).

The Kids went to the spook ally up at the swimming pool and came home exhausted from there ultra fun day. Brody, Paris, and Blaze hit the pillow as soon as they walked in the door.

We just peeked in on Paris and oops she got to bed so fast we did not get her makeup washed off and some of it got rubbed in her eye brow's, and it gave her a uni-brow. Hehe I could not resist a picture!!

Our New Foxx

We did it finally....... After Paris asking for years and year well at least 5 years, for a puppy. Well we never felt up to adding that responcibility to our plate untill now. And really it was just the right opertunity.

Paris first Met Foxx at our family reunion in the summer time. She instantly fell in love. She went up to cardston to visit him often and take him on walks. And got a promise from Cliff (who is Mom's cousin and the owner of the dog) that when they die Paris can have the dogs. I think she started Praying immediately for Cliff and Marvelles demise. Anyway Cliff told Grandma they were think in it was getting to be to much to have them both so we thought really hard and decided we could handle a fully grown dog that is only 5 pound, and a completely potty trained dog, and a quite dog. He really is a super dog. So here we are with a 6 year old Pomeranian and I think Paris is in love!!

She's already asking if we can change it to a girl, which we said well they already kinda did, so she's already got the best clothes and Bling bling picked out for this little boy puppy.

Oh, the good ol' hockey game......

I know at least Ali and Missy will get the song. So it's officially started....... B's hockey season. It's a happy bliss full time for B and his father as I try to wrangle 3 kids at a freezing cold ice arena. Just kidding (kinda)

Yesterday B played in Picture Butte. There are now 2 goalie's, they switch games so last night was B's big goalie debut. It went really well they ended the game tied 5 to5. B save a lot of the shot and was all in all very happy with how he did. After the game the whole team came a did a dog pile on B, Which if you know anything about B, He hates contact sports, (that's why he likes to be goalie) Any way's after 15 kids pealed off, there was a completely flat B layed out on the ice. Grandpa Scott commented "jeez, I wonder what they will do when they actually win a game."

So today's game was a home game against bow river. They were an amazing team. A few of there players were a good head taller then most of ours. Anyway it was the other goalies turn so B got to play out. He was a defense men which is good for B. Anyway after the first 2 period's they had a break for 10min to warm up in the dressing rooms. But by then the other team had 12 goals and we had 5 (yikes). These boy's were top shelving the puck all over the place. Anyway our goalie got super frustrated and did not want to be goalie anymore So of course in step's B

He was so excited that he got to be goalie again. So they all came out and B got into net. He was on fire. he let one in, But the next shot, The boy lifted the puck, I thought it was a for sure in, but B threw up his catching glove, and the Puck disappeared! Even B looked back in the net thinking there is no way he caught a lifted puck. But he did he as the announcer said it plucked it right out of the sky! Total Fluke I'm sure but B sure played it cool like he had done it a thousand times before. After the game the boy`s piled off the bench and skated toward B for a dog pile and B had learned his lesson He automatically started skating away as fast as he could.

Anyway it`s been a busy week. I did pictures for my friend Wednesday, Mom left for Utah Thursday. Friday we went out to Chinese food with the Wolsey`s. The kid`s are getting super excited for Halloween. And that is pretty much our life right know.

These are a few of the pictures I did for my friend. Since i pretty much can`t post with out pictures ever.

Laughing

Ok I've been thinking about this quote for a while and not sure if i made it up or if it's a real quote, but it's one I like to live by
Photobucket
IF YOU CANT LAUGH AT YOURSELF, WHO CAN YOU LAUGH AT?
(the more i think about it the more i think i made it up, Just like i made up Hoodie! hehe)

Well i Like to laugh at people. Not in a mean way but when people do something so dumb or just plain funny i like to laugh.

For example (see if Missy remembers this) One slippery day in lethbridge we were driving though the Mall parking lot and we stopped to let this younger lady with a child walk in front of us, well of course as soon as she got right in front of the truck she slipped and fell, But she did it very gracefully and we new she was fine, But it was all we could do to not die laughing until she was safely out of hearing distance. It's just funny or when B runs into the back of vehicles while riding his bike, Just plain funny! As long as no one is hurt it's funny only cause you know how you would feel if it happened to you!

So I decided, so i can be justified in laughing at other people's dumb things i would think of dumb things i do that i can laugh at.

#1. When i get so mad at the kids and im yelling and my words get jumbled up and i don't make any sense at all, so all i can do is end it off with a Blahhhhhhh and walk away.

#2. I Can't think normal if I'm working out a problem or thinking of idea's, I've got a constant dialog going on in my head and it's not a one sided. (no I don't have multiple personalities) Just 2 sides to all my internal conversations. Which coincidentally happen in the shower (the only place it's quite in the house).

#3. I think it's funny that I think my blog could be so much better if i knew how to spell better. It's funny that i have to dumb down my words just because spell check does not even know what I'm trying to spell.

#4. I think it's funny that since my last baby, I've inherited a flatulent/bloating problem. OK i don't think it's funny but i do think me sending Brad in to Walmart on a mission to find the best gas relief pill's if funny!

#5. I think it's funny that i write about gas problems on a blog that once in a while people read and will know look at me totally different.

OK that's all the funny thing's that i can laugh about myself so I'm good to laugh at someone else at least 5 more time!
