Wow! What a Week!

Boy oh boy! What a week it's been. I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Brody has been home sick since sunday. Let me tell you how much more grateful for school me and him both are. I Love having him at home sometimes but for a whole week of school was a bit much. Paris has been home off and on. She try's not to be sick so much i have a hard time knowing when she is sick or not. Anyway she's ended up home since Wednesday! Yikes.

Brody today begged and begged me to be able to go back to school. (i think he's really dying to play hockey this weekend). But he is feeling way better. So today we are all felling better and cant' wait for Monday to roll around again so happily i can send the two big kid's off to school!

This weekend if the second of many craft sales this season. It's a small one and I'm not expecting to much but it will be fun cause I've got a couple friends there as well.




Knox is getting so big, He's really enjoying being on his tummy, That is if Blaze would leave him alone and not roll him like a steam roller back and forth. I'm sure they will be good friends when Knox can fully defend himself.

A Bunch of Sicko's

This is our house today. Either we are getting it or getting rid of it but we've all had the cold. I mean the cold with aches and pains and a cough. Blah. B's been sick since sat. but will head back to school tomorrow. Paris came home today but decided a hour later it was not so much fun at home so she wanted to go back to school! So I'm kinda thinking she's a big faker, but who am i to judge? This is Day 2 for me and who knows about Blaze he's clingy and Grumpy which usually means he's sick but he is yet to so actual symptoms of being sick. Oh well at least Brad and Knox and Foxx did not get it! I'm glad for that!



This is Blaze's new touque that he's in love with but he will only wear his monkey sweater with his monkey touque. I thought he was going to have a hernia when i tryed putting his Argyle sweater on with his monkey touque

What a weekend!

It was a super busy weekend for us. Saturday started with a super exciting Hockey game of B's! He got to play goal and despite feeling not very well, He did pretty good. We lost 5-3 but there were just over 30 shot's on net against B so all in all he did well!

He was quite jealous of the other teams goalie who was outfitted with real Pad's (our team only uses his street hockey pad's). Anyway he's so excited about the prospect of getting new "Real Pad's". Minor Hockey is suppose to be supplying them but they have not and nor do we know when they ever would. But some very very Nice folks (Wink, Wink) Think he would do even better if he had his very own pad's to practice and play with!!!! We've been talking about it for a while and trying to figure out how we could swing it, but with all the other crazy expenses in a family of 6's life (shoe's alone) right now it just was not in the card's. So we are so grateful that B will get the opportunity to own and practice with the real thing! (Thanks so so much you really have no idea what that means to us and him)

After the hockey game we whipped down to cardston to do a quick trick or treating at Grandma and Grandpa Hough's and Aunt Marge and Uncle Lorin's. Then we popped over to Maggie's house (Foxx the dog's previous house) so they could see each other. Maggie is super excited and Poor Foxx was not so excited. He's a much calmer dog then Maggie.

Home we went to have a Birthday Party Dinner for Grandma Gibb, yep that's right she was born on Halloween. After Dinner and Cake on went the costumes and out they went trick or treating.
Missy took all the big kid's I took Blaze to all of 3 houses and it took so long we quit and came home to pass out candy.

Poor B by the end of the night was so tired and worn out and not feeling good he ate one treat and went right to bed!

Happy Halloween part one.

Today was the kid's Halloween parade and party at school. After minor mind changes in the morning on the choice of costume, They got off to school on time, makeup and all. Paris choose to be a witch this year. And B decided on a old timer hockey goalie(No helmet or neck guard).

B was the undecided this morning so we only got a quick picture on the way out the door......





So after school Paris and I took off into lethbridge to use the OPRAH 50% off your entire purchase at Payless coupon!!! Yep it worked in Canada so we stocked up on shoe's for Brody, Blaze Me and Paris (and Em).

The Kids went to the spook ally up at the swimming pool and came home exhausted from there ultra fun day. Brody, Paris, and Blaze hit the pillow as soon as they walked in the door.

We just peeked in on Paris and oops she got to bed so fast we did not get her makeup washed off and some of it got rubbed in her eye brow's, and it gave her a uni-brow. Hehe I could not resist a picture!!

Our New Foxx

We did it finally....... After Paris asking for years and year well at least 5 years, for a puppy. Well we never felt up to adding that responcibility to our plate untill now. And really it was just the right opertunity.

Paris first Met Foxx at our family reunion in the summer time. She instantly fell in love. She went up to cardston to visit him often and take him on walks. And got a promise from Cliff (who is Mom's cousin and the owner of the dog) that when they die Paris can have the dogs. I think she started Praying immediately for Cliff and Marvelles demise. Anyway Cliff told Grandma they were think in it was getting to be to much to have them both so we thought really hard and decided we could handle a fully grown dog that is only 5 pound, and a completely potty trained dog, and a quite dog. He really is a super dog. So here we are with a 6 year old Pomeranian and I think Paris is in love!!

She's already asking if we can change it to a girl, which we said well they already kinda did, so she's already got the best clothes and Bling bling picked out for this little boy puppy.
